McClone Electric has been doing that out of Kosciusko County since 1981. Chris McClone started the business, and his son Dustin runs it now.
We are experts
It’s the line under our name, and forty-five years in one county is what backs it up.
The work runs from a dead outlet in a bedroom to a 2000-amp service for a new commercial building, and nothing is too big or too small.
We wire new construction and fix what’s already there. We put in standby generators, run network cabling and cameras, and use infrared scanning to find hot spots before they turn into fires. We make all of our control boxes in house.
Since 1981 we’ve been answering the phone at two in the morning.

We started with farmers
Our first customers were farmers, and they still are.
That’s how the business grew, and it’s why we started building our own control panels instead of ordering them in. A farm can’t sit and wait on a control problem, and a panel shipped in from three states away doesn’t come with anyone who can look at it.
The last one we built runs a commercial grain elevator: bin blowers, sweeps, the leg, the cross conveyor, and the load and unload augers, with every circuit numbered and labeled.
