Electrician in Warsaw, Indiana

Warsaw is where most of the work is, and it is where we are based.

McClone Electric has been working Warsaw and the rest of Kosciusko County since 1981, first under Chris McClone, who started it, and now under his son Dustin, the second generation in the same county.

Businesses in Warsaw

Warsaw is the county seat, and most of what we do here is commercial, from medical and dental offices to restaurants, banks and churches, and the lights in their parking lots. The full list, and how LED rebates work, is on commercial.

For a lot of Warsaw businesses the only time the job can happen is after closing or on the weekend, so that is when we do it.

Two you can go and look at

Creighton’s Crazy Egg Cafe on West Old Road 30: we did the electrical from rough-in through finish, including the lighting, the counter and the register. The mason jar pendants hanging over the counter are our work, as are the fixtures hung off the reclaimed beam in the dining room.

Moe’s Southwest Grill on Lake City Highway is the other. We did the entire thing, from the service on: kitchen wiring for the line and the coolers, power and lighting through the dining room, the point-of-sale and beverage stations, and the connections for the hood and the rooftop units.

Both are open, and walking into either will tell you more than anything we could write here.

New buildings

When a new commercial building goes up in Warsaw, the electrical starts before there is a building: the trench, the conduit bank sweeping in under the foundation, the transformer pad, then the main gear and the feeders inside.

The last one we did was a 2000-amp service, brought in through 4-inch conduit.

Being there from the first trench is what design build means.

Houses in Warsaw

Plenty of Warsaw housing is old enough to need the panel looked at. Service upgrades, panels that have no room left in them, circuits added for a kitchen or an addition, EV chargers, pools and hot tubs, ceiling fans and lighting.

The before and after here is a Warsaw house: a fuse cabinet with cloth-covered wire and taped splices going in, and a proper panel coming out.

After

If the breaker will not stay in, or half the kitchen went dead, that is this. See residential.

Shops, barns and outbuildings

A lot of Warsaw addresses are not really in town. If there is a pole barn or a shop building on the property, that is its own job, and we trench the wire in out to it: sub-panel, high bay lighting, a welder circuit, a heater. See pole barn wiring.

When it cannot wait

Something smells hot. A breaker that keeps tripping. Power out.

Do not wait until Monday to call. Somebody has been picking up this phone since 1981. Emergency electrician.

Questions people ask

Do you actually come to Warsaw, or is this a list of towns?
Warsaw is most of our work, and it is where we are based.
Do you answer after hours?
Yes, round the clock, as we have since 1981. We will not promise you a time; we will tell you honestly when we can be there.
Do you do commercial and houses, or just one?
Both. Commercial is the biggest part of what we do, and a dead outlet in a bedroom is still a job. Nothing is too big or too small.
